Daily routine with baby

I am a lover of routines and regularity. I'm lucky because babies are like that too! We notice that M really strives on a regular schedule, so here it is! All of these times, of course, can differ a bit day by day. We follow the awake time of 90 minutes, this schedule goes out from waking up at 7 am (times differ by half an hour with waking up at 6:30 am). She might go down for a nap earlier if she didn't nap well last time or if she shows signs of tiredness earlier. The first nap is about 1,5-2 hours, the second nap around 2-2,5 hours and the third one about 1-1,25 h. She usually has 3 naps but if they are shorter than desired, she might have four.

This is a daily routine when I'm at home with her for a whole day.

Around 7:00 - baby wakes up, gets changed and fed (breastfeed+bottle).

7:30 - baby plays independently (30 min) while I brush my teeth, dress and get breakfast. Last 20 minutes we play together, do tummy time, exercises for rolling over.

8:20 - baby goes down for a nap (in her own bed)

8:30 - 1st nap of the day

10:00 (sometimes 10:30) - baby wakes up, change, feeding (bottle)

10:30 - playing together. This is the time we do little gymnastic exercises from this book. Once a week we go for a baby swimming class, this is the time that happens.

11:00 - top-up feed before the longer midday nap + 10 min of calmer play, such as looking at books together

11:20 - baby goes down for a nap

11:30-14:00 - 2nd nap of the day (in her own bed)

14:00 - baby wakes up, change, feed (breastfeed and bottle)

14:30 - playing together, this is the time we do some baby yoga exercises from this book and look at some books together. Depending on the weather, we might venture outside for 15-20 minutes so she can look at trees.

15:20 - baby goes down for a nap

15:30 - 3rd nap of the day. This nap might be on the go when I want to visit the library, see a friend etc and we haven't been outside yet.

17:15 - baby wakes up, change, feed (breastfeed)

17:30 - baby plays independently while we cook dinner and eat, thereafter it's daddy's time to play with the baby. We might go outside for a short stroll if the weather is nice

18:30 - top-up feed before the night sleep (bottle)

18:40 - baby goes down for her night sleep: sleep ritual

19:00 (a desired time) - 1st stretch of night sleep

22:30-23:00 (based on the time when we want to go to sleep) - dream feed (breastfeed+bottle)

23:00 - x - baby sleeps. She usually wakes up once (let's all hope this lasts through her 4th-month sleep regression!), then she gets changed if the diaper is very wet and fed (breastfeed+bottle) and goes back to sleep as quickly as possible
