This month was a big one for little O, as he started at daycare!
Important
He started at daycare for 3 days a week from the 25th of August. The beginning was hard, especially sleeping. He had troubles falling asleep by himself and staying asleep, so he only slept 45 min for the whole day a couple of times. It has gotten better and he now plays with other kids and seems to enjoy it, apart from the moment of leaving in the morning, when he cries a lot.
He is more mobile, standing on his knees and pulling everything down and still chewing everything. Still scoots on his tummy but can crawl properly when he needs to.
Has 6 teeth now (4 up, 2 down).
Favourite things: pulling everything out of the shelves, looking at his sister using an electric toothbrush, following me around when I'm vaccuum cleaning.
Eating
He has 3 bottles left (after waking up, before the second nap and before the night sleep. His favourites are sweet potatoes (he ate a whole sweet potato!), grapes, blueberries.
Drinks water from a straw for a month already.
Likes almost all foods and eats along with us mostly (without salt), has liked foods like curry, lentil soup, potatoes, pasta with sauce. Sometimes he gets his baby food still or aside of our food.
Menu:
morning: bottle 180+6, baby porridge alongside with some banana,
fruit after his first nap
lunch: baby food/bread with pb/veggies
bottle before his nap
snack after the second nap (fruit and chewies)
dinner: our food or some baby food
bottle before bed
Sleeping
It is hard at daycare but going well at home mostly. He has 2 naps on 2-3-4 schedule, first one in a moving stroller at home (30-45 min), second one in bed (1,5-2 h). He sleeps about 11-12 h at night and 1,5-2,5 h over the daytime. On home days, he sleeps about 14-15 h and about 13 h at daycare days.
He falls asleep on his own 99% of the time, he has a paci with a bunny knuffeldoekje and a sleeping bag on.
He sleeps through the night mostly, he had some tough nights but it seems to be linked to either teeth or the daily schedule.

6:30 awake, bottle
7:00 breakfast
9:00 1st nap, 45 min max usually
10:00 snack
11:45 lunch
12:30/12:45 2nd nap (1,5-2 h)
Around 15:00 snack
17:30 dinner
18:15 bedtime, bottle, asleep by 18:45 (depending on the time of the second nap)
