I love making lists and wishlists are one of them. M already has very many things and we are trying to rotate them and buy second hand for the good of the world. This is what she will be getting and wishing for Christmas.
She's getting 2 big gifts: a tricycle that can be converted to a bicycle without peddles (Trybike) later and a Pikler triangle. Both of these items I have managed to score on the second-hand market and they are in great order! A small gift she will be getting for Sinterklaas is a backpack, also a second-hand purchase in an excellent state! She will get a good pair of mittens from Estonia as well.
I will put some things on her wishlist and will display these things here per category.
Educational activities

- Playmag magnetic tiles - M is into building now and I think she would like to have these next to her wooden blocks and Duplo. A lot of people buy Magnatiles or Connexit magnetic tiles but according to reviews, these seem to be as good and cheaper.

- Goki building blocks with transparent colorful windows - I have read several review of these blocks and that children like to take them to places and look at the world through these colorful windows, they can also be used to building (and in combination with the Grimms blocks we have). Can be bought locally!
Art&crafts
- Finger paint - last attempt with finger paint was a big failure but I hope that she will be ready for it now.

- Janod coloring set for in the bath - something to make the bathtime a lot of fun!

- Eyelike stickers - toddlers love stickering, therefore I would like her to have a nice set next to the Melissa&Doug set we have (but I don't find the stickers stick enough). Eyelike stickers are great because they are realistic.

- Bathrobe - I love this one with owl ears! Also would support a local store!

- Warm rubber boots from a Dutch company Druppies for cold rainy days when her normal boots are not waterproof enough and her normal rubber boots are too cold for. Also sold here locally!
Toys

- Lilliputiens doll - she has been having a great time taking care of a doll at daycare so that will be a nice gift for her.

- Schleich animals for our animal collection that we use with playdoh and with picture cards

- Ostheimer wooden animals, great because they are bigger and very durable.
Other

- Kiddikutter knife for helping at the kitchen - a non-sharp knife meant just for toddlers!
Books
Our book list is the following:
- It's OK to be Different - a book about diversity for children, better start early!
- Colors by Jane Foster
- Zoo sounds and Bird sounds - I think she would love it but we are not keen on toys that make sound... Will think about these two!
- Gerda Muller's Seasons collection - beautiful board books about seasons.
- Campbell's Machines - I absolutely love Campbell's books!
But of course, most off all, we will be thankful and happy to have been able to spend the holiday time with our family and friends!
